Flixn – Webcam vids made easy
A big part of the new media is that consumers are becoming creators. This is going to mean that making things will, to a degree, have to become easier.
Flixn.com is here to help. Webcam warriors can hook up their camera to their computer and record a video of up to five minutes – no registration required.
From what I understand the site works quite easily, simply press record, stop, and copy the code for your blog, MySpace, etc. The site attaches a short ad at the end of each video, however MySpace have disabled links inside Flash objects so this could pose a problem.
I’m attempting to test the site out, but my webcam is not playing well with Flash. I’ll install a new driver and get back to you…
