Part 1 in the series here.
WebbAlert is a week-daily vidcast hosted by the titular Morgan Webb, of G4’s X-Play fame.

The show’s been mentioned here on YMM a few times before.
Like Play:Digital, WebbAlert keeps it short, to the point, and entertaining. It’s a great vidcast if you feel you should keeping up with the online and tech news, but just don’t have the time to check dozens of RSS feeds. Morgan picks out a few important and/or interesting items and summarizes what you need to know.
It’s headline news for the web (you’ve no idea how tempting it was to put another B on the end of “web”).
3-5 minutes of interesting and informative content makes for an excellent vidcast. And, if you were a fan of Tech TV, you know that Morgan’s funny and incredibly knowledgeable.
The advertisements are a little annoying since, even though they’re short, WebbAlert is a very short show, so they still take up an uncomfortably large percentage of the show’s length.
But, as we found out on an old episode of Tekzilla, Morgan spends a lot of time working on the show, and it’s definitely worth sitting through a few seconds of an ad.
So for news, gadget tips, and sometimes even viral video roundups, WebbAlert is the way to go.
